TheTrendyCove LLC is a gift card liquidation company. This means we buy gift cards from individuals and businesses willing to sell them to us. Unfortunately, in our industry, there are some bad actors. These bad actors will attempt to steal your funds by having you purchase a gift card; then, they will sell the gift card to others. Sometimes in this chain of events, TheTrendyCove will be the last person the gift card is sold to.
We do not want to support fraud in any way, shape, or form. If you have been frauded and identified TheTrendyCove as your card’s final destination, please contact us through the contact us form or the Customer Service number. If your phone call is unanswered, please leave a voicemail containing your name, phone number, date of the transaction, and the amount you were frauded. You will receive a call back from someone on our team promptly.
The best way to avoid gift card fraud is to be able to spot fraud before it happens. A great rule of thumb is never to send a gift card to a stranger or send someone pictures of a gift card unless it is as a GIFT and you expect nothing in return.
